Choosing equipment for the task
Begin with the hazards in your workplace or activity. Compare the exact model, fit and available documentation; product names alone do not establish a protection level.
For hand protection, consider grip, dexterity and the specific mechanical or chemical risk. For eye and hearing protection, check task suitability and proper fit.
Ask for model-specific test reports where relevant. Never assume a certification or performance rating applies to every variation in a range.
